Hello! My name is Matthew Kim, and I am a software engineer. I have a previous background as a biological sciences researcher with an emphasis on stem cell biology. What got me started in coding, was actually a language we use in the lab called RStudio, which we used to organize and display data. It was very basic and only created graphs for us, however it piqued my interest in coding. What made me fall in love with coding was actually my favorite part of being a researcher, which is the ability to solve puzzles and problems in many different ways and that there is no singular correct answer. I love puzzles and problem solving and I love solving them in my own way, and then comparing my solution with others who have tried solving the same problem.
